Our client is a transaction management specialist with over 1,000 international customers. Their customers are typically large firms, and our client’s software help manage all their data. We created a web portal through which user companies can get transaction-related overviews and in-depth information.

Our client offers large-scale accounts analysis to big companies with hundreds of thousands of transactions. Companies are able to import invoices and transactions and analyze them online through this web portal.

User companies can analyze and cross-check accounts payable, accounts receivable and identify problems like duplicate invoices or payments.

Some of the key benefits and features of the system are:

• Customer Management: Management of customers to whom the invoice are to be sent.
• Products Management: Companies can import their product database from csv files, using a flexible ajax import interface, where fields in the csv file can map to fields available in the database.
• Invoice Management: Companies can create an invoice, send them either in xCBL 4 or PEPPOL format and track the invoices.
• Invoice Statistics: To analyze invoices that are to be sent, already sent, and paid over a selected period of time with the help of chart.
• Power-user: A power user can manage companies, create invoices for companies and access all the information of other users of the system.

This software was developed using Codeigniter and MongoDB back in 2014 and 2015. The front end offers rich user interaction with multiple color schemes across the modules and was developed by customizing the Bootstrap framework. Today Laravel would be a good choice for developing similar systems.
